With the majority of Mississippians living in rural areas, and the majority of physicians residing in urban locals, remote patient monitoring has become a crucial component of care. UMMC started using Care Innovations’ RPM program for patients with diabetes and within the first six months saw zero ER visits and no hospital admissions.
